Constantino’s Market is a family owned and operated grocery store located in the heart of Cleveland’s Historic Warehouse District.  The market is ideally situated to serve Cleveland’s growing population of downtown residents, commuting office workers, tourists, and the business community. 

Owners Constantine, Evelyn and Anna Mavromichalis have been in the grocery business for almost 30 years.  Each of their stores was tailored to the neighborhood it serviced.  When they were approached by the City of Cleveland to create a downtown grocery store, they felt the success of the market would be dependent upon their commitment to provide a well designed setting and a passion for discovering and satisfying the needs of their customers.

Constantino’s Market does just that by providing shoppers with the basic amenities as well as upscale, quality grocery items and healthy prepared foods.

The experience of being hands-on operators has prepared the Mavromichalis’ well to meet the challenges of a business that will continue to grow and change as the downtown neighborhood blossoms.

The other key ingredient of the success of Constantino’s Market is Chef Billy Slaiman. He’s the reason Constantino’s cases are chock full of delicious creations ranging daily from Greek, Asian, Middle Eastern and Italian to Vegan and All American Comfort Foods. Chef Slaiman is a self taught virtuoso who has had an exciting and eclectic career, beginning with Visual Merchandising, to helming his own restaurant, Billy’s on Clifton, to food stylist and corporate caterer. Chef Slaiman joined the Constantino’s team when the store opened in 2005 and has been sending mouth watering dishes out of the kitchen and into the store ever since.
